We are recruiting an experienced Manual Turner to join a busy engineering workshop in Chadderton, specialising in repair and breakdown work. This is a jobbing shop environment with varied, hands-on work – ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving and one-off components rather than production.

Duties

• Operating manual lathes
• Repairing and refurbishing worn or damaged components
• Working from drawings, samples or worn parts
• Supporting breakdown work with quick turnaround
• Producing one-off and small batch parts

What You’ll Need

• Strong experience as a Manual Turner / Lathe Machinist
• Background in repair work or a jobbing shop
• Able to work from samples or worn components
• Confident reading engineering drawings

Ideal for a Manual Turner who enjoys repair work, variety and hands-on machining.
